Nneka Ukpai

Nneka Ukpai is the Senior Director of Business and Legal Affairs at Better.com in NY and Assistant General Counsel at Better’s investment holding company, One Zero Capital. Previously she was a senior associate in the Complex Litigation and Trial Practice Group of Paul Hastings LLP in D.C.

Nneka received the 2017 Advocacy and Leadership Award from the National Bar Association’s Young Lawyers’ Division, and was honored with the National Center for Law and Economic Justice’s 2016 Pro Bono Leadership Award for her representation of two non-profit organizations in complex commercial litigation.

Nneka is a proud graduate of Howard University and Harvard Law School, where she currently serves on the distinguished faculty of Harvard’s Trial Advocacy Workshop, teaching aspiring litigators best practices for arguing cases from start to finish.
